NIHR SOUTH WEST CLINICAL RESEARCH NETWORK
The National Institute for Health Research's local activities are divided into 15 Clinical Research Networks (CRNs) delivering health and social care research across England. The South West CRN
supports research delivery across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. They help to increase the opportunities for people to take part in health and social care research, which will lead to better health and care outcomes now and in the future.

The Academic Toolkit is aimed at paediatric trainees interested in pursuing an academic career pathway, from funding application checklists to tips on writing your PhD application and case studies from those already in research.

GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE TRAINING
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is the international ethical, scientific and practical standard to which all clinical research is conducted. GCP training is an important course to keep up to date as a paediatric researcher. You can take courses face to face or online.
